Search entries. A name, place, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Mitchell County Released Inmates does not store or log those terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms apply to the data it receives.
Messages. An email or contact-form message may be retained long enough to answer, keep a record of the exchange, or meet a legal obligation. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless a valid legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Automatic Technical Information
Routine logs and measurement tools may collect technical details when a page loads. Those details help operate, secure, and understand the site.

Links may lead to sheriff and corrections pages, public-record portals, federal locators, or third-party search tools. The receiving site's privacy policy controls after a visitor follows the link. Mitchell County Released Inmates does not direct how that site collects or retains data.
Advertising partners may use their own technologies to measure activity across sites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs on the partner's systems under its policies.

Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the ability to verify the requester, a user may submit a request through the Get in Touch page to exercise the following choices:
- Receive a copy of personal data held by the site
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of eligible information
- Opt out of processing where that right applies
